On September 28, 1542, Spanish explorer, Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo,
sailed his flagship, the San Salvador, from Puerto Navidad, Mexico,
into the San Diego Bay. He came ashore at Ballast Point on
Point Loma, and was the first to reach what is now the west coast
of the United States. These mixes are made with Point Loma in mind.
